Weather Clock · TV clock with weather

A clock for your TV that shows the sky

A big analog clock whose dial is painted with night, sunrise, daylight and sunset at the real times for where you are. The background follows the weather outside, and a strip shows the next six hours. Put it on the TV or a spare screen and leave it there.

  • Sunrise and sunset on the dial
  • Live weather + 6-hour forecast
  • Fullscreen for TV
Real app, real taps. Nothing mocked up.

The problem

Your TV is a big black rectangle most of the day

The weather app is on your phone, the clock is on the oven, and the TV just sits there. A calm, readable clock with the weather would make that screen useful without being another feed to scroll.

Who it is for

  • Anyone with a smart TV, tablet or spare monitor
  • Families who check the weather before school
  • Offices and studios that want an ambient wall display
  • People who like a calm, analog-looking clock

Before

  • A dark TV or a busy screensaver
  • Weather hidden in an app
  • Sunset times you never know

With Weather Clock

  • A big clock across the room
  • Weather and the next 6 hours
  • Sunrise and sunset on the dial

How it works

Three steps, right in your browser

  1. 1

Open it on the big screen

In the TV’s browser, on a tablet or a spare monitor.

  2. 2

Allow location (or pick a city)

Your sunrise, sunset and weather. If you decline, it uses an approximate location.

  3. 3

Make it yours, go full screen

Lines, numbers or Roman markers, light or dark hands, then fullscreen.

FAQ

Questions people ask

How do I put a clock with the weather on my TV?

Open Weather Clock in your TV’s web browser (or on a tablet or laptop connected to the TV), allow location or pick a city, and switch to fullscreen.

Does Weather Clock work on my smart TV?

Yes, in the TV’s browser, or cast it from another device. The large display is made to be read from across the room.

How does the dial show sunrise and sunset?

The 12-hour dial is painted as a sky ring: night, sunrise glow, daylight and sunset are placed at the real sunrise and sunset times for your location.

How accurate is the weather?

With location allowed, the app uses your location and a public weather data service to choose the background and show current conditions and a short forecast. Accuracy depends on the data provider and your location.

What is sent when I allow location?

Your approximate location goes to the weather and sunrise services to fetch the data for your area. If you decline, the app makes an approximate guess instead.

Does it show a forecast?

Yes, a strip with icons and temperatures for the next six hours.

Can I change how the clock looks?

Yes: line, number or Roman markers, light or dark hands, and fullscreen mode.

Does it work as a screensaver on a computer?

Open it in a browser window and go full screen on a spare monitor. It is a web page, not an installed screensaver.
